Top 5 Racetracks in Horse Racing Fantasy

Racing with Horse Racing Fantasy developed by Horse Racing Simulation LLC can be just as thrilling as attending a horse race in-person. Plus, this 3-D virtual game gives you a chance to “attend” some of the major racetracks around the world. The information available about these racetracks is enormous so we will only highlight ten of the famous horse tracks found in the United States that are available with Horse Racing Fantasy.

The first of these famous horse tracks is none other than Churchill Downs. This track is located in Louisville, Kentucky, and it is most well-known for being the home of the Kentucky Derby as well as the twin spires atop the grandstand. Over the years, Churchill Downs has hosted the Breeders’ Cup eight separate times. Actually, it became a national historic landmark in 1986.

Next on our list is Aqueduct or the “Big A”, and it first opened its doors on September 27th, 1894. It is home to many horse races, but some the grade 1 races held here include the Carter Handicap, the Cigar Mile Handicap and the Wood Memorial Stakes. This is the only horse track located in the New York City limits, and it is a fixture in South Ozone Park, Queens.

Third is the Fair Grounds Race Course. It is a horse race track and a casino located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Among the well-versed, it is also called the New Orleans Fair Grounds. It is home to many horse races, but the Louisiana Derby may be the most prestigious as it is a preparation race for the Kentucky Derby.

This brings us to Gulfstream Park which has been part of the Hallandale Beach locale since the first four-day meet held in 1939 and the twenty-day meet held in 1944. It is home to the Sunshine Millions Day, along with Santa Anita Park which is also an available race track, and the Florida Derby. Imagine racing your virtual horse here on the 1 1/8th mile dirt track or the one mile turf track.

Rounding out the five, Lone Star Park is both a horse race track and an entertainment destination in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Actually, it is specifically located in Grand Prairie. It may not boast of prestigious horse races like some of the others; however, it is home to quite a few horse races including grade 3 races the Lone Star Park Handicap and the Texas Mile. How will your virtual horse perform on the one mile dirt track or the seven furlong turf track?

Of course, these are only a few of the horse race tracks that are available on Horse Racing Fantasy developed by Horse Racing Simulation LLC. Others include Pimlico, Saratoga, Keeneland, Belmont Park and Santa Anita Park. To explore all of the available race tracks, visit them at http://www.horseracegame.com/racetracks.php. Actually, the virtual world of horse racing allows you to experience racing on tracks that would not be possible no matter your geographic location. What are you waiting for?

Visit Gulfstream Park During a Stakes Race

If your holiday travels take you near Hallandale, Florida, I would highly recommend including a visit to Gulfstream Park.  In case you are lucky enough to live near Hallandale, Florida but haven’t made it a point to go to Gulfstream Park, don’t wait any longer.  From December 21st through January 1st, there are some horses racing events known as stakes races that you could attend.

On December 21st, the Dania Beach Stakes will be held here.  It is a Grade 3 race run over 1 mile and open to 2-year-old horses battling for their share of a USD 100,000 purse.

This is followed on December 22nd by the Harlan’s Holiday Stakes.  It is open to 3-year-old horses or older who race the 1 1/16th miles all for a part of the USD 100,000 purse.

In case these dates are a bit too early for you, December 28th is the date for both the Mr. Prospector Stakes and the El Prado Stakes will take place at Gulfstream Park.  The Mr. Prospector Stakes was inaugurated back in 1946.  Today, it is run by 3-year-old horses or older over 6 furlongs on the dirt.  They try their best all for a share of the USD 100,000 purse.  The El Prado Stakes, on the other hand, is run by 3-year-old horses or older for 1 mile on the turf.  In the end, the goal is to grab a share of the USD 100,000 purse.

If Sunday works better into your plans, the Ocala Stakes will happen here on December 29th.  This is another race that is open to 3-year-old horses or older.  The race is contended for 1 mile on the dirt, and all for a slice of the pie so to speak.  The USD 100,000 pie or purse rather.  The 2012 Ocala Stakes ended with a dead heat finish between Delightful Mary and Holiday Mood on January 8th, 2012.  Let’s hope the 2013 Ocala Stakes has a clear cut winner.

New Year’s Day horse racing may be just what you are looking for, and if so, the Gulfstream Park Derby is a horse racing event at Gulfstream Park on January 1st.  3-year-old horses are eligible for this 1 mile race on the dirt.  The USD 100,000 purse will be distributed among the top finishers.

My intention is that this snapshot of the upcoming stakes races at Gulfstream Park will have you planning a visit there soon!  The horse racing events are not limited to stakes races so be sure to find out what races fit into your schedule.

Of course, if you cannot visit Gulfstream Park, do not worry.  It is just one of the numerous race tracks across the United States and throughout the world that are available to you on Horse Racing Fantasy developed by Horse Racing Simulation LLC.
