Train to be the Best

The son of legendary Curlin is set for the Jim Dandy Stakes, July 27.  Palace Malice a dark bay identified by the small star on his forehead is an American Thoroughbred known for his 2013 Belmont Stakes win followed by Oxbow and Orb. Sired by Curlin and Dam Palace Rumor, this stallion is a great mix of breed fooled on May 2, 2010 making him a three year old this year.

Preparing himself for the Grade 2 Stakes at Saratoga Race Course he clocked 00:49.77 over four furlongs, making it the 34th quickest of 95 at the distance on the morning of July 21, when he was seen at his fifth workout since his victory at Belmont on June 8.

The Jim Dandy Stakes that is ran as the late July Sunday event at the Saratoga race course was inaugurated in the year 1964. Open to three year olds and above, it distances over 9 furlongs. Named after the colt called Jim Dandy who had won the Travers Stakes in 1930, this event will be in its 50th running this year.

I am hoping to see a great amount of action and my eyes is on Palace Malice. The trio of the jockey-trainer-race horse is at its best with trainer Tod Pletcher, Jockey Mike E. Smith and Palace Malice, and I am hoping to see him set the race straight by his win!

Remembering his “suicidal” pace at the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs I am assuming there is going to be pressure among the rest of the participants!

Even though the real thrill of horse racing remains at the tracks, it is however possible to bring the race to you. While you sit at home and experience an entertaining virtual game played online, you can feel the adrenaline rush with the 3D horse racing fantasy game. You can plan practices as a trainer or be the name on the leader board as the jockey winning the most prestigious races of all times.

Why not try racing the father and the son – race Curlin and Palace Malice and watch the real winner thrive through! www.horseracegame.com
